We love cloth diapering! It’s so much better for our planet and babies skin. I have tried many brands and we fell in love with Esembly.
They have a unique design for their inners. It hugs the babies legs and makes them literally blow out proof! We have yet to have one! Fingers crossed.
If you go to their website, they have a unique tool that allows you to see how many inner vs outers you need for your baby and your situation. Some people part time cloth while others full time. We are thankful our sitter allows us to use them over at her house, too!
Another thing we found that makes cloth easier is using cloth wipes, too. This way, you wipe the bottom, place the wipe inside the diaper like usual, and place it all inside your wet bag!
I have 30 reusable wipes I found on Amazon. I fold them up really nice and pour my solution on them. I make them about once a week. Here is my recipe.
•2 cups warm water
•2 TBSP melted coconut oil
•1 TBSP baby wash
we use Young Living Seedlings
I have a portable hard shell wipes container I throw them in if we’re going out! They are amazing. We use them for hands, faces, and booties!!!
If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to help. You can also get 20% off of Esembly using my code: CIJI20

Esembly has a wipe up wash n go kit. It’s more for on the go. You bring dry wipes with you, spray your foam on it and then wipe. We have tried both ways but it’s typically easier for us to do pre-made wipes.
Now, most people always wonder how one size fits all with babies. Another reason I chose Esembly is they have two sizes. Perfect for our growing littles. A lot of the cloth companies have into one size and it’s very hard to make them work on a newborn.
With Esembly, size one is 7-17 lbs. When you first put the inner on there may be gaps around the legs, this is ok. This is where the “truffle tuck” comes in handy. You just take the ruffle part and tuck in inwards all the way around the leg. This gives it a tighter fit and helps reduce blow outs. Then, you put on the outer as usual!
They have overnighters too. These are fabulous! When Xavier started sleeping longer in the night I added these on top of the inner. It’s to add more absorbency. Now, we can go about 10 hours or more through his big sleeps without any leaks! Mom win :)
